Chateau Peyfaures 2015 - Grand Vin De Bordeaux - Millésime 2015
Tasting Notes
Another beautiful vintage for the ages. Our clay soils provided a cooling effect to counterbalance the warmth of vintage, giving our wines balance and depth. We used a higher proportion of cabernet franc as well because it was able to ripen more fully than in years past, so the wines have an added level of gravelly minerality to complement the opulence of the merlot. This is certainly a wine that will be long lived. For early drinking be sure to decant, but nothing will be more rewarding than patience in the cellar.
